Booms

 

Your boom is critical to control th power in your sail.  In recent years significant improvments in durability and stiffness have been made, which result in improved performance from your sail and less risk of failure offshore.  We only stock high quality rig components from Neil Pryde, Gaastra and Fiberspar.  We know from experience these brands products are well made, and can be relied upon when you need to far out at sea.

Carbon booms are much stiffer than Alloy booms, and a good investment for high performance sailing particularly in larger rig sizes.  For recreational sailing in the bay, a good quality Alloy boom will be just fine.
