What to expect:
Stand Up Paddle boards have now been around for a while and we are starting to see some very specialized SUP surfboards made by the manufacturers. Cutting edge designs from 8 foot performance "short" boards to 14ft highly specialized point to point distant machines. SHQ Boardsports has all the latest boards on demo so come and try boards and paddles from Naish, PSH, Southpoint, Walden, 7S, Oxbow, NSP, Werner, Kialoa and Xylo. Simply bring a towel and a wetsuit and we will provide the rest.
Clinic:
Paddle Surfing is the sport of Hawaiian kings and has a rich cultural heritage. SUP is also a great way to get in touch with the ocean. Our experienced instructors will give you their personal attention and share the surfing/paddling experience with you. Learning to paddle surf could be the beginning of a new lifelong passion. Our experienced instructor will take you through our comprehensive, introductory program that is designed for the newcomer to the waves. The latest paddle boards and paddles are provided.
