The SHQ story begins right here. He started teaching windsurfing way back in '79. Passionately involved since at all levels of the sport. Co-founder of Windsurfing Victoria, started Sandringham Sailboard club, Sandy Funboarders, and the Windsurfing Industry Association. Keen promoter of racing, the outdoor lifestyle and all things healthy... He apparently does like the odd glass of wine and a good yak!

Ivan
A multi-skilled, hard man who loves pushing the limits. Kitesurfing, windsurfing, snowboarding, paragliding, surfing.....

He does it all...Full on. Possesses a vast product knowledge and will do anything to help. Australian Masters kite champion in 2003.

Paul
The big beaming smile says it all! A much- travelled, super relaxed and friendly guy who just worships the outdoor lifestyle. Has been to several of the best windsurf and snowboard places on the planet. When it comes to wind and snow he really knows his stuff. A true professional

Tony M.
Big Tony is a hardcore kitesurfer and snowboarder. He's a laid-back easy going guy who's just passionate (in his own quiet way) about his favourite sports. He's done the overseas snowboarding seasons in Canada and his kitesurfing instructor skills are of the highest standard. And SHQ is indeed lucky to have him on the team.

Simon
Simon or 'Balmer' is the Boardsports master-grom who can do it all. He can skate, kite, sail, board, surf and skim. Quickly earning respect as the kiter who rips without ripping. Our own futuristic, soulful Boardsports action hero!

Andrew 'Max'
The energizer bunny. Andy is an ever enthusiastic and keen kitesurfer, kayaker and fisherman. You'd be lucky to get him to sit still for longer than it takes to make a short black coffee. With a few seasons in the snow under his belt and his never-say-die attitude, Max is our most hard-core snowboarder.

Chris
Horrigan likes to go large, yes Chris has probably been in more accidents than a Mercedes Benz Crash test Dummy … He is a hardcore water and snow man from way back. He’s been skiing and boarding since knee high and now takes every opportunity to be on the water, busting new moves kiteboarding and surfing . Been overseas for several seasons, he's pretty much done it all. His product knowledge is up there with the best and his attention to detail can't be faulted.

Bryan
Affectionately known as “Von Kiss”, this free-smiling, enthusiastic dude is so laid back he should fall over. A brilliant sense of humour combined with his passion for Kiteboarding and Surfing makes him always keen to please by giving amazing service.(Just keep an eye on your daughter) On his days off Brian's stays busy coaching Volleyball and running his own business selling Cables. He's also shown some talent recently as an Orca Wetsuit model.
