Dockstarting is the sport of foiling using nothing but your own power to generate speed and stay up on foil. Most riders start by running off a dock and jumping onto the board, sometimes using a simple setup to hold the board steady alongside the dock to make getting on that bit easier.
To make it all work, you need a foil that’s efficient, forgiving at low speeds, and delivers plenty of lift when you start pumping. The F-One Jam works wonders for getting started and providing heaps of progression to develop in the sport. It’s available in 1400, 1600, and 1900 sizes to suit a wide range of rider weights and abilities.
