The perfect setup for SUP surfers looking to get into foiling and make the most of those smaller, less powerful days. It's also a great option for existing foilers wanting to get into wave riding without the learning curve of prone foiling or the cost of an e-foil system.

We've selected the gear to give you a great balance of stability, paddle speed and early wave catching, while still being heaps of fun once you're up and riding. It's an accessible way to get into SUP foiling, with plenty of room to progress as your skills develop.

Board – F-ONE Rocket SUP Downwind

A great shape for getting onto waves early, with the paddle speed and glide to make the most of every session.

• 7'10" × 22" – 137 L: Best suited to riders 80 kg and above.

• 7'5" × 21" – 120 L: A great option for lighter riders and more experienced foilers.

Foil – F-ONE Seven Seas T2

Supplied with an 80 cm alloy mast and 275 surf tail. Choose your front wing to suit your weight, experience and the conditions you want to ride.

• 1600: Best for beginners and/or smaller, weaker surf around knee-high and below.

• 1500: A versatile mid-range option, particularly for heavier riders.

• 1400: A good mid-range option for lighter riders or more experienced foilers.

• 1300: Best suited to lighter or more experienced foilers looking to ride in waves up to chest-high.
